aquatherm® NZ

aquatherm NZ Ltd introduced in 1999 the fusiotherm® product range to New Zealand and this was quickly embraced as a transport system for both hot and cold water in residential, commercial and industrial settings.

Our principal product line is the fusiotherm® pipe system. PP-R having been available in Europe for over thirty years this product is seen as the future preferred product in the domestic, commercial, plumbing sector. Within the product range, there are several product types which are specifically colour coded for plumbing initiatives.

All our aquatherm piping systems are long lived and comply with the German DIN requirements of polypropylene and further to this are independently assessed for compliance here in New Zealand by SAI Global for the joint AS/NZ 3500 standard and BRANZ for G12 and compliance with the New Zealand building code.

Manufacturing is done only in Germany and product quality control measures are without a doubt the principal component of aquatherm Germany's product quality control service. There is a 50 year durability statement for the aquatherm product range, all aquatherm piping products are fully recyclable, non toxic, PVC free and approved by Greenpeace as a future approved plumbing material product.

Installation of the fusiotherm range is by registered installers and aquatherm NZ runs training courses throughout New Zealand to ensure that all installers of our product are certified, fully competent in the welding procedures, product selection and testing and warranty requirements of our product. aquatherm NZ is proud to have now trained over 5900 registered fusiotherm installers throughout New Zealand as at January 2010. We are extremely proud to be involved in many upgrades and new installation work for Housing New Zealand.

Our head office is at Carbine Road, Auckland, where we undergo all our training, central administration and where we warehouse the majority of our principal stock. Our team is small and efficient and includes a hands-on attitude from our founders and senior directors Stephen Derig and Milton Sands. Our team consists of registered plumbers for sales and onsite reports as well as an administration and warehouse team

Plumbing World is our exclusive plumbing distributor; who we work actively with both in senior management and most importantly the branch staff who provide nationwide trade access to our product range. This is readily achieved through their nationwide network.

Our international warranty covers third party damage to the value of NZ$9 million dollars in the event of product claims and substantial cover in the case of bodily injury.
