Over the last few months aquatherm has been working alongside NZ Internet Services to update the website in search for a new modern feel that will not only look good but will help benefit the plumbers, specifiers, architects, engineers and more to find their way around the website and get the answers they are looking for.
As part of our refresh, we are updating our references and we will also be keeping you up to date with the big and small jobs we have around our country and the world.

A letter dated 6 August 2009 from Tim Browne of David Browne contractors reads:
"PPR product is currently being installed for the chilled, heating, salt, hydraulic and domestic heating and cold water systems at the latest Green Build project in Christchurch at the University of Canterbury's School of Biological Sciences building by David browne Contractors Limited due for completion in May 2010.
PPR sizes range from 20mm to 160mm over 8 floors and the entire PPR range of products are being used from ball valves to Fusio wingbacks including all the different pipe types available to meet the water criteria being installed.
The product has again proven it self with easy installation on the higher floors, creates good staff moral as it's easily handled and creates a clean, green finish that looks neat and also provides a 50 year guarantee peace of mind for the client for future years to come.
The client and engineers expectation is very high as its been designed on environmentally sustainable principles thus the contractor is responsible for reducing the negative impacts on the environment by minimizing consumption of non-renewable resources and adapting sustainable measures, PPR falls into all of the above.
Aquatherm NZ has been available through the project with regular site visits and good advice and communication. We are pleased to be associated with the products"
aquatherm and David Browne have been working closely together for many years now and see their relationship continuing to grow as they help one another out in the future on all sorts of HVAC jobs.

aquatherm NZ Ltd are proud to be one of the many companies that were exhibiting in the 2009 BuildNZ show held at the ASB Show Grounds on the 28-30 June and the FireNZ 2009 show which was held at the Ellerslie Events Centre on the 9-10 September.
With two successful trade shows under our belts, we are busier than ever with jobs developing in HVAC - for schools and wineries, underfloor, firestop and not to mention the dairy sheds being piped out in fusiotherm in the central to lower part of the North Island.
aquatherm attends many trade shows each year - the next one coming up will be the 64th Annual NZIHE (New Zealand Insitute of Healthcare Engineering) Conference on the 5-6 November at Te Rapa Kingsgate Hotel and Conference Centre, Hamilton - come and see us and find out more about the ever expanding innovative pipe systems that make aquatherm NZ Ltd.

This existing plant recently purchased by the Alliance group is getting a major upgrade and extension. Services that aquatherm products have been used on are 62 deg water , 43 deg water, Cold water, Chemical and compressed air as well as the combined hot water return.
These services run both within the building as well as over the roof of the existing plant. Where the pipe runs in an exposed area the UV protected faser or climatherm has been used, fittings have been UV protected also with aquatherm black liquid UV protection.
This installation is being carried out by Turfreys of Waipakauru. Turfreys are experienced users of aquatherm products in industrial applications.
Another successful project was recently signed off by IPL Plumbing contractors - the completion of the project included a gymnasium, teaching classrooms and a synthetic sports field.
The complex designed with the future in mind, by Warren and Mahoney - with the contract going to Gibson O'Connor Construction, John and his team signed off on fusiotherm piping in both SDR 11 and SDR 7.4.
The official opening is this month and will be an occasion for all pupils from both past and present to enjoy.

Energy efficiency is just one important aspect of Future-Proof Building. Overall, the showhome demonstrates that building a home using quality materials and practices is a sustainable investment. Decisions that make a home more comfortable today save money in the future and add value to homes in the long term.
aquatherm is proud to have fusiotherm installed in this winning show home and involved in CMS (Construction Marketing Services) and FPB (Future Proof Building), together providing an energy efficient, healthy, safe, quiet, quality assured, eco-friendly, safe home like the the Ashburton CMS Show Home shown in the pictures above and below.

The new stadium at Eden Park will allow the complex to become the Jewel in the Crown of the 2011 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand with this in mind the following objectives had to be met in the water piping system. The system had to have a effective economic life for the park for 50 years.
The system needed to be proven, and have world wide and New Zealand Certification and be shown to be effective in stadiums throughout the world.
It had to also meet the (green) aspect of the design , clearly identifying recycled water usage, and at the decommissioning stage the piping must be able to be recycled easily (and with energy efficiency in mind).
The piping had to be a cost effective system. Fusiotherm (manufacture in Germany) gives a 50 service life guarantee with a 5,000 euro cover.
The fusiotherm piping system has all world wide certifications and compliance including Australian Standards and Branz NZ approval (unlike many inferior copies).
It is the only GREEN PEACE approved ppr product range meeting green build standards in all areas.
The range in the fusiotherm team is such that it has options for all applications, Lilac (for recycled water) Faser ( for hot water ) Blue Stripe (for cold water) all in size ranges for every application.
The pipe costings meet the need of a highly cost sensitive market place.
All of this with qualified installers and full site supervision from the aquatherm technical department makes for a project that Auckland ( and New Zealand ) can be proud of .
