aquatherm were proud to be represented at the recent 109th Master Plumbers Annual Conference held at the Art Deco Capital of NZ, Napier from the 17 - 20 March.

With an excellent attendance of members and delegates, our stand was exceptionally busy and in conjunction with Plumbing World we displayed recent innovations, new welding jigs, large dimension pipes to 315mm and overall we had a really good conference and thoroughly enjoyed our involvement once again with the Master Plumbers Association.

Territory and Personnel Changes at aquatherm

With the growth in aquatherm brands and the requirement to keep focussed, we have made the following changes and  appointments in conjunction with our existing team at aquatherm:

North Island Plumbing Manager - Steve Taylor

Steve's role will be to support all day to day plumbing enquiries for fusiotherm and SHT pipe systems, information assistance, architectural services, Plumbing World support service. He's doing it all! Martin Reid will support and overlap the Wellington area for the next six months to help Steve get on his feet with this new role.

South Island Plumbing Manager - Neil Macdonald

Neil's role will be to support all day to day plumbing enquiries for fusiotherm and SHT pipe systems, information assistance, architectural services, Plumbing World support service and like Steve, he's doing it all!

National Technical & Training Manager  - Pete Worsnop

Pete will be responsible for training nationally, both with our own in-house training systems and also developing integration with the ITO, Master Plumbers and HVACNZ. Most importantly, Pete will be ensuring our sites and installations continue to the highest level.

National HVAC Manager  - Martin Reid

Martin takes on the HVAC role for aquatherm. This will ensure the continued focus and growth of the climatherm pipe system for chilled and heating services, hydronic underfloor heating systems and climasystems for ceiling heating and chilliing in service, supply, design and installations.

Firestop, Commercial and Domestic Sprinkler Systems - Steve Derig and Milton Sands

Steve and Milton will run the category nationally for architectural, design, installation, service and support.

All of the above changes are effective from May 2010. Please don't hesitate to contact any of the staff should you have any issues or queries.

After several years as Auckland Plumbing Manager, Peter Gray is leaving the role to pursue opportunities across the Tasman. All the team at aquatherm wish him every success with the big move. Peter's last day with us is 28 May, during this transition period he will endeavour to introduce you to Steve Taylor, who will be taking over the role.
