Compressed air

Climatherm® is particularly appropriate for use in air conditioning systems where metal pipes are traditionally used. The inner and outer surfaces of these metal pipes can corrode, however by using climatherm® corrosion is no longer an issue. In addition the 100% corrosion resistance capacity of the product guarantees the life expectancy of mechanical applications.

Climatherm® is the result of extensive research and development by aquatherm Germany. The properties inherent in the climatherm® pipe are the result of integrating a special faser mixture with polypropylene - the result a 'faser composite pipe'.

The coefficient of linear expansion of the climatherm® pipe is nearly identical with other metal pipe materials. Compared with other solid plastic pipes the support intervals can be increased and pipe clamp requirements reduced.

Aggressive fluids and chemical lines

The Climatherm pipe sysytem is an industrial pressure pipe system developed to meet the demand for a pressure piping system which can accommodate the specific requirements of the industrial sector. Climatherm pipes and fusiotherm fittings are made from fusiolen® PP-R (80)S PP. The system is particularly resistant to chemicals and aggressive fluids. The share of plastic pipe systems in the field of industrial installations is constantly growing. aquatherm offers all components necessary for a complete pipe system, like plastic valves, mac unions, threadad unions and all respective components in plastic.
