James Baxter and Galuefa Fatialofa, apprentices of Aquaheat Industries Ltd in Wellington were the lucky winners of the aquatherm scholarship.

Due to this they had all expenses paid trip up to Auckland on behalf of aquatherm NZ Ltd and HVAC Contractors - their 2 days trip consisted of attending the Holyoake Air Diffusion course  on Wednesday 24 March, followed by Thursday 25 March when they attended the Fan IQ and PPR training at our premises here is Carbine Road before heading to airport 6.30pm flights.

aquatherm NZ is proud to be a part of this and congratulate James and Galuefa for their high achievements and look forward to working with them in the future.

A special thanks the Steve and Debbie from the HVAC contractors from organising this and making it the successful event it was.

315mm - a new dimension for climatherm!

315mm climathermmmm

With internationally and local demand here in New Zealand increasing on the climatherm pipe system, aquatherm has increased the dimension of the climatherm-faser composite pipe to the dimension of 315mm.

Jointing is by Butt-welding and the system is now supported as well by the introduction of large dimension weld-on saddles which increase in dimension to 125mm.

We have currently three projects underway in 250mm primarily in plant rooms for large heaters.

These 315mm pipes are all available ex. Germany.

Advantages of the climatherm® system

  • Temperature range - from -20°C to 90°C
  • Resistant to corrosion - the end of corrosion damage
  • Fusion welded joins - for a life time connection
  • Heat & sound insulation - high insulation quality, energy savings and less noise
  • Impact resistant pipes & fittings - your durability guarantee
  • Less pipe roughness - improved flow rates
  • Ease of installation - light & clean to handle
  • High heat stabilisation - resists temperature changes
  • Reduced thermal expansion - all climatherm pipes are faser composite
  • Noticeably less insulation required - climatherm only needs about 10-12mm insulation, as a pose to steel pipe that needs two to three times the amount. Please see photo below to emphasize the dramatic advantage of climatherm.
